Description:  Alco-Montreal Locomotive Works built this locomotive in August of 1911 as Grand Trunk Pacific #829, GTP class D2, boiler #50315, renumbered by CN in 1920 to #2706. It was scrapped in December of 1961. No date, location or photographer listed for this photo.

Description:  Note on by by photographer Anthony H. Perles on his day of following CN #80 - "CNR 2615 (N-41, 40%) and #80 (right) meet on way freight and mixed train at the 'town' station." (Simcoe, Ontario, Canada) CN #2615 was built by Alco-Schenectady in August of 1907, serial #43554, nee-GTR 765, GTR class D5, Absorbed by CN, it was renumbered in 1923 as 2615, CN class N-4a. The loco was scrapped in February of 1960 after 53 years of service.

Description:  Interesting note on back of photo by the unknown photographer describes the action - "CN 2615 (N-41) 1907, ahead of 9-8-9 (sic), ready to do St Catherines Way freight as steam power comes out for the day. 4:30am" This took place at the Niagara Falls Terminal in Ontario, Canada. The loco was built by Alco-Schenectady in August of 1907 (serial #43554) as-GTR 765, GTR class D5, Absorbed by CN in 1923, it was renumbered as 2615, CN class N-4a. The unit was scrapped February of 1960 after 53 years of service.
