Tom Beckett	General	Rutherford NJ, or Rutherford PA?? There is no yard at the Jersey location, though the former EL runs through it; it's close to the former EL Croxton Yard, which is still in service for NS. Rutherford PA, a former Reading yard just north and east of Harrisburg, was Reading's Harriaburg area terminal, and was part of an "alphabet route" that included the B&O, whose power would have been common there. BO GP40-2 #GM50
For the 50th anniversary of Electro-Motive in 1972, EMD built a B&O (Chessie System) GP40-2, painted it gold, and numbered it GM 50. Rail fan Frank Spieles was there to catch it while in Rughterford, NJ yard. The loco eventually became B&O 4164 and then CSX 6063
