| The photographer did type some info on this photo but not the loco's number. I couldn't sharpen it enough to read it either. The info also creates a problem - most sources list the last S-1/S-1a being scrapped by 1959. If the date is correct on this photo, at least one lasted into the early 1960's still in revenue service.
