This switcher was built by EMD and delivered January of 1971 as #9281 but renumbered later. Eventually sold to US Steel - Edgar Thompson Works as #ET-3. Some confusion on this site as its origins - this site has it originally built by EMD as a GP38AC for the DTI. Not sure where that info came from. Date and location are approximations for this photo - no photogrpaher listed. |
