Nice color slide by Karl C. Henkels of the 1981 EMD built GP38-2 for the Chicago South Shore and South Bend and still wearing the original yellow & blue color scheme that former owner of the Chicago South Shore, C&O, had chosen. The unit was repainted in early 2000's to an Insull era orange and maroon color scheme, a decision reached by 90% of the CSS employees who were given a chance to decide the new color choice. |
