With help from Jerry Laboda, this car appears to have been built as a trailer and never was an actual power car. There is mention of something about the car being used to haul containers and that it was (possibly later) equipped with a "pumper" for use Lakeside. The car now resides at Illinois Rwy. Museum. A contradictory note on the back of the photo state that is was - "M37 Ex-Express Container in Pumper Service, St Francis, WIS Aug 30, 1961". Unknown photographer. |
