An original photo of Chicago & Eastern Illinois 2-8-2 Mikado #1925 built to USRA Light design by Alco-Schenectady in 1918. With the engine number on the tender, this dates the photo to sometime after 1941. Specs - class N-2, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,000 lb, tractive effort of 54,779 lb. With the exception of 1930 (boiler explosion), all retired August 1949 to August 1950. Date and location are unknown. no photographer listed either.
