PRR 4-8-2 #6811  Contributor's Pick!       
Very well preserved original photo of the 1926 Baldwin built 4-8-2 Mountain type steam locomotive #6811. Only one of the 300 Pennsy 4-8-2's has survived and fittingly is at the RR Museum of Pennsylvania. Specs - M-1 class, 72" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 385,850 lb, tractive effort of 64,547 lb. Photographer initials were J.B.
