| Here's another Chicago & North Western SD18M loco whose life was similar to its sisters on the CNW roster. Originally built in December of 1959 as a Southern Rwy SD24 (#6952), it was sold to PNC, rebuilt and leased out. Chicago & North Western then purchased it and renumbered it as CNW SD18M #6643. No info was given with the original color negative but this may have been taken during a CNW Proviso Yard openhouse in June of 1987. |
