PM 0-8-0 #1303 - Pere Marquette         
Caught sitting outside the PM Lincoln Street roundhouse is Pere Marquette 0-8-0 #1303. Built by Alco-Pittsburgh in March of 1918 as PM #488, it was renumbered around 1920 to PM 1303. It eventually slid onto the C&O roster in 1947 when the PM was absorbed and again renumbered, this time as C&O #43 (class C-13). The loco was scrapped in October of 1951. Specs - 51" drivers (upgraded to 52" in 1920's), 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x28" cylinders, engine weight of 206,000 lb, tractive effort of 45,200 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
