Caught with a light coating of snow is CM&StP 4-6-0 #1077. The loco originally started out as MILW Vauclain compownd 4-6-0 #354 built by Baldwin in September of 1900. During its nearly 40 years of service, it had many numbers - renumbered in 3/1907 to #1704, renumbered in 10/1912 to #4304, renumbered and simplified in 3/1921 to #2854, renumberedßhn 6/1938 to #1077. The loco was scrapped in May of 1940. No photographer or date was listed. |
