This loco led a long and respectable life. Originally built by Baldwin in September of 1900 as CM&StP Vauclain compound 4-6-0 #360+ it had many numbers during its nearly 53 years - renumbered in 3/1907 to #1710, renumbered in 9/1912 to #4310, renumbered and simplified in 2/1921 to #2860, renumbered in 9/1938 to #1081. The loco was scrapped in March of 1953. No photographer was listed. |
