Fairly nice photo of MILW 0-6-0 #1428 as it was sitting in the Milwaukee Yard. Built by the MILW Shops sometime between 1903-13, the loco was just one of a large number produced. The original number was chaged in 1938 to one in the 1400 series. Original specs - class I5-a, 51" drivers, 19x26" cylinders, 180 psi boiler pressure. This is an R. Donald Ross photo |
