Sitting outside the shops area next to GN GP7 #623 is Great Northern F7A #307C. Buklt by EMD in October of 1950, it served the Great Northern in freight service. Upon the merger itno Burlington Northern, it was renumbered BN 622. , The loco was finally traded to EMD on 2/10/1972 for a new GP38-2 order. The photo was taken with a 35mm camera by rail fan Strauss. |
