Title:  PRR 2-10-0 #4309
Description:  Great action shot of Pennsylvania RR 2-10-0 decapod #4309 heading up a long train wrapping around the curve at the historic Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, PA. Built by Baldwin in November of 1922, the loco was in sdervice until retirement and scrapping in June of 1955. Specs - serial #55780, class I-15A, 62" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 30.5x32" cylinders, engine weight of 366,500 lb, impressive tractive effort of 102,027 lb. The date and photographer's name were not given for the photo.
