Album Info:Nice group of older b&w photos of Canadian National 2-8-0 Consolidations. Only one photo had a date and location. The rest did not. Approxiamtions were used.

Title:  CN 2-8-0 #1945 - Canadian National
Description:  Originally built as Intercolonial Railway of Canada (IRC) #57 by the Canadian Locomotive Company in 1910, it was renumbered IRC #145 in 1912, sold to Canadian Government Railways as #145 in 1916, it was sold and renumbered CN #1945 in 1919 after the railway merger. The loco worked for nearly 40 years before being scrapped in November of 1950. This photo is by James Adams photo. No date or location was given for the photo.

Title:  CN 2-8-0 #2354 - Canadian National
Description:  Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in 1914 originally as Intercolonial Railway of Canada (IRC) #286, it became Canadian Government Railways (CGR) #286 in 1916. In 1919 it was sold to the CN as #2354. The loco was finally scrapped in June 1954. No location, date or photographer was given for the photo.

Description:  Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in 1910 originally as Northern New Brunswick & Seaboard #23, it was became Canadian Government Railway (CGR) #158 in 1916, it was renumbered after the merger in August 1920 as CN #1948. The loco lasted until being retired and scrapped in December of 1954. This is a James Adams photo. No date or location was given fthe photo.

Description:  Long before diesels wore the number CN #2040, this 2-8-0 Conolisdation did. Built originally as CNoR #466 by the Canadian Locomotive Company in October 1908, it was renumbered to 2040 in 1912, and became CN 2040 in 1919. The loco was renumbered in September of 1955 to CN 2825. The loco was finally scrapped on October, 1956. No location, date or photographer was given for the photo.

Description:  Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in June 1908 as CNoR #444 renumbered CNoR #2117 in 1910, it was renumbered CN 2117 in 1919 after the railroad merger. It was scrapped in April of 1954 after nearly 45 years of service. No location, date or photographer was given for the photo.

Description:  Originally built as CNoR #406 by the Canadian Locomotive Company in August 1907, it was renumbered CNoR #2015 in 1912, became CN #2015 in 1919 and renumbered again in October of 1955 to CN #2820.
