Title:  CNJ Alco RS3 #1550 - Central RR of New Jersey
Description:  Built by Alco in March of 1953, CNJ RS3 #1550 served the CNJ until the collapse in 1976. It was merged into the Conrail roster as CR #5380 but rebuilt in April of 1979 and renumbered CR Alco RS3M #9934. Current disposition is unknown. No date or photographer was listed for the photo.

Title:  CNJ Alco RS3 #1703 - Central RR of New Jersey
Description:  This lucky Central RR of New Jersey received the "Red Baron" paint scheme before the collapse of the CNJ. Sharp looking paint scheme compared to the rather austere older green or blue schemes. Buil tin March of 1953, this loco eventually merged onto the Conrail roster in 1976 as CR #5395. No photographer was listed for the photo.

Title:  CNJ Alco RS3 #1548 - Central RR of New Jersey
Description:  This loco was built by Alco in March of 1953 and was a true boomer loco that bounced from one roster to another. After the collapse of CNJ, it wound up on the Conrail roster originally as CR Alco RS3 #5378. It was rebuilt and renumbered CR Alco RS3M #9937. From there it went to WJRR #91>SRNJ #1548>NJ #1548. Current disposition is unknown. No date or photographer was listed for the photo.

Description:  Heading up a freight near the Red Bank, New Jersey yard are a pair of Central RR of New Jersey locos. CNJ #1541 was built by Alco in June of 1950. When Conrail took over it was initially renumbered CR #5371 but was rebuilt in 1979 to CR RS3M #9909. No date or photographer was listed for this photo.

Title:  CNJ Alco RS3 #1549 - Central RR of New Jersey
Description:  A rail fan took this night-time photo of Central RR of New Jersey Alco RS3 #1549 while it sat in the Red Bank, NJ Yard. Built by Alco in March of 1953, it moved over to the Conrail roster in 1976 as CR #5379. It was rebuilt in May of 1979 as CR Alco RS3M #9931. Like a true boomer loco, it then bounced through at least 6 more rosters. Current disposition is unknown. No date or photopgrapher was listed for the photo.
