Built by EMD in March of 1951 originally as Wabash #1162A, it was absorbed into the NW roster and renumbered. According to the RRPA data base, this loco made it through all the later mergers and was spotted by Fred Stuckman in 2012, albeit in bad shape! The slide is from the Houser collection. |
