PC GG1 #4882 |
Description: |
The Penn Central GG1 #4882 (nee-PRR 4882) was officially retired on 10/31/1983 and eventually donated to the museum. This massive and powerful locomotive still ranks as one of my all-time favorite locomotive models. Sadly it needs a new coat of paint. |

A visitor will feel small when standing next to this massive unit. Wish I could have seen one running the rails. |
