Description:  Alco-Schenectady, 12/1910, SN 48849, nee-MILW 5011, class N1 compound Mallet with Coffin "cobra-hooded" feedwater heater, renumbered 9511 in 1912, simplified in December of 1929 and renumbered MILW 9307, class N3-S, renumbered MILW 57 in 1938, retired in March of 1953 after 43 years of service. Simplified specs - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, four 21 1/2x30" cylinders, engine weight of 390,300 lb and tractive effort of 82,720 lb.
