Specifics - class M-64, 70" drivers, impressive 240 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 408,500 lb, tractive effort of 63,735 lb. All were scrapped by 1956. To the left rear is DRGW 2-8-0 1029 built by Burnham, Wms & Co in 1902, a "small fry" when next to the massive 4-8-4 sister!
