Interesting action shot of two Delware & Hudson RF-16A #1205 & 1216 "Sharks" on a brige. These two Baldwin "Sharks" were originally Monongahela Railway units that were to be scrapped but were saved when the Delaware and Hudson Railroad acquired both units from the scrap dealer in exchange for an equal value of scrap steel. They were used in freight service and in passenger excursion service on the D&H until April 1978. Unfortunately, not location, exact date or photographer was listed for the photo. |
