CBQ 4-6-4 #3006 - Chicago, Burlington & Quincy |
Description: |
Nice photo by an unknown photographer of this 1930 Baldwin built Hudson. Note the fireman posing by his window - or maybe just waiting for a clear signal. No date or location was listed for this photo unfortunately. |

MILW 261 & CBQ 3006 |
Description: |
During the 1996 annual Galesburg RR Days festival, two sharp looking locos stand next to each other. MILW 261, a 1944 Alco 4-8-4, was on display before heading up fan excursions at the festival. CBQ 3006, a 1930 4-6-4 Baldwin, is on permanent display at the Galesburg station. Both are excellent examples of steam in its heyday! |
