A pair of Conrail SD50's |
Description: |
A pair of Conrail SD50's, numbers 6727 & 6720, sit in the Conway, PA, yard waiting for their next assignment. These were two of 135 SD50's that Conrail purchased to help ease the power crunch as they retired many of the older inherited units like the Alcos Century models. CR conductor Ken Taylor caught these two in the yard. |
