This sharp looking, fresh from the paint shop GP40M-2 #3002 named "Clatkanie" for an Oregon town is shared by the Portland & Northern RR and its subsidiary, Willamette & Pacific. Originally built by EMD in September of 1967 as NW #1382, it now serves the two conjoined railroads in Oregon. WPRR #2308 sits to the side. As of 2014, #2308 still had not received a new paint scheme to cover the former ATSF colors. This is a Craig Hamada slide. The date is approximate. |
