Somewhat a "switch hitter", this loco was built by GE in May of 1988 as Conrail #5084. During the breakup of CR, it was sent to Norfolk Southern as their 4814 but sometime in 2006 it was sold to CSX and became their #5976. An unknown photographer caught this "black sheep" of the CSX roster pulling a freight through Danville, IL. |
