Similar to its sister, SGLR #6120, this Budd RDC1 unit was built in May of 1955 as Boston & Maine #6122. It moved over to the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority as their #6122 for a period of time before finally landing on the Seminole Gulf roster. According to Jerry LaBoda's website, only one motor was intact and used for AC, lights, etc. It was no longer self - powered. In essence, it was a heavy coach car.
