Wearing the solid single stripe is this former PRR GG1 #4880, now relabeled PC 4880. Built by GE in February of 1939, the loco went from PRR to PC and finally to CR #4880. After nearly 44 years of service the loco was finally retired in 1983. Thanks to Tom Beckett (see comment below), this loco went on after Conrail to the New Jersey Transit to serve out its days on the NYU & Long Branch line between Penn Station and South Amboy,NJ.
