GE built this loco in October of 1967 originally as NYC U30B #2869. After the collapse of the Northeast railroads, the loco was merged into lPenn Central as PC #2869. With the collapse of PC, the loco was then put on the Conrail roaster as CR 2869. No final disposition was found - presumedly scrapped during the Conrail era. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
