Ray Lackemeyer photographed Boston & Maine F7A #4268 as it sat by the the station at the North Conway Scenic Railraod. No. 4268 is a former Boston & Maine Railroad unit built in December of 1949 as BM #212 that arrived at the Conway Scenic in 1992. It served as a static display for twenty years to the North Conway Scenic property for years. Luckily, in April, 2022 after a restoration, it returned to active service. on the tourist railroad along with its sister BM 4266 owned by the 470 Club but used on the North Conway line occasionally. |
