ATSF GP20u #3002 |
| Description: |
Built in May of 1960 as ATSF GP20 1101 but renumbered ATSF 3102 in November of 1969 and repainted later June, 1972. It was rebuilt and renumbered ATSF GP20u #3002 in July of 1978. Evenrtually it was transferred to the BNSF roster as BNSF 2002. It was sold in February of 2000. No location or photographer was listed for the color slide. Based on other photos taken around the same time, the loco may have been in the Chicago area when this slide was taken. |

| Description: |
Built by EMD in August of 1961 as ATSF 1128 (serial #26835) but was renumbered as ATSF 2128. It was rebuilt to GP20u in September of 1978 and renumbered ATSF 3028. Eventually it was transferred as BNSF 2018 on 10/27/1998. The loco was retired from BNSF on 11/24/1999 and was sold to PRC and eventually LHRR. No location or photographer listed for the slide but based on other photos taken around the same time, the loco may have been in the Chicago area when this was taken.. |

| Description: |
Built by EMD in December of 1961 as ATSF 1166 (later renumbered 3166), this original GP20 was rebuilt to the GP20u classification and eventually sold to Pioneer Rail sometime before 2007. An unknown photographer took this color slide. |
