Specs - serial #69799, class U-2-g, 73" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 25.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 400,300 lb, tractive effort of 56,786 lb. The locomotive was finally scrapped in March of 1960. No date, location or photographer was given for the photo. |

Built by EMD in October of 1959 as CN GP9 #4349, the was later rebuilt and renumbred CN GPRM 7261 sometime before 2004. It found work quite a distrance away from Vancouver, in Thunder Bay, Ontario where it was mated with CN slug #243. An unknown photographer took this photo of it resting in the Vancouver, BC Yard. |
