Title:  CP 4-6-0 #434 - Canadian Pacific
Description:  This stubby 4-6-0 ten wheeler steam locomotive was built by the Canadian Pacific Angus Shops in December of 1912 as CP #2434. It was renumbered to 434 in September of 1934. The loco was scrapped in April of 1959. Specs - no serial #, class D4G, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 19x24" cylinders, 180 psi boiler pressure, engine weight of 146,000 lb, tractive effort of 21,381 lb. No location, date or photographer listed for the photo but Raymond Kennedy (see comment below) identified the location as Kingston, Ontario. Thanks Raymond!!

Description:  Nice example of a 1903 North British Locomotive Co ten wheeler. It was later rebuilt by the CP shops. A note on the back states "C.P.R. #539 4-6-0 taken at Saugeen Junction, Ont., on Toronto-Owen Sound Branch." This branch near the town of Flesherton has now been converted to a rails-to-trails.

Description:  According to a couple sources, this 4-6-0 ten wheeler was built by the CP shops in 1910 and just one of the over 600 ten wheelers that were on the CP roster at one time. Description:  One of the over 600 ten wheelers that appeared on the CP steam roster at one time, this one was built by the CP shops in 1911 according to online sources.
