This Illinois Central Gulf GP10 #8303 was once Boston & Maine GP9 #1735. The loco was rebuilt in 1975 at the IC's own Paducah Shops and renumbered IC 8303 and later ICG 8303. Eventually the loco was sold to Paducah & Louisville Rw (PAL) and renumbered PAL GP10 #8303. This photo is from the Conniff collection. |

Originally built by EMD in December of 1973 as Chesapeake & Ohio, it was rebuilt in 1973 by the IC Paducah Shops to a GP10 and renumbered IC GP10 #8321 with later relettered ICG. In 2/23/98, the loco was sold to J&Mloco Service. who in turn sold it to Rail Switching Service as their #8321. This photo is from the Conniff collection. |
