I finally got a fairly good roster shot of the Manitou & Pike's Peak Rwy 0-4-2 #4 at the Museum. Built by Baldwin in January of 1897, it was sent to the Colorado RR Museum in 1968 upon retirement. A few years after our visiti, it was traded for #1 in 1979. |

| Description: |
Interesting little 0-4-2T steam loco built by the Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) in 1888, serial #9343. According to a note on the back of the photo this little tank loco was built for the Park & Ocean RR but eventually ended up on the Southern Pacific roster. No location, date or photographer listed for this interesting photo. |
