WICT FP7A #96A - Wisconsin & Calumet RR
Title:  WICT FP7A #96A - Wisconsin & Calumet RR

Originally built as MILW FP7A #96A by EMD in January of 1951, it was sold to NRE at Dixmoor, IL around 1989. From roughly 1991 to 1999, it was Wisconsin & Calumet #96a seen here. After that, it moved over to the Wisconsin & Southern as their WSOR #71A with a new paint scheme. Finally sometime after 2005, it was sold to Escanaba and Lake Superior as ELS #600. An unknown photographer took this color slide.

LN FP7A #673
Title:  LN FP7A #673
Description:  Here is another black shrouded Louisville & Nashville freight loco. The color scheme was one of the worst ever tried by any railroad. Boring and not very visible at night made this a poor choice. Loco history - EMD, August, 1949, serial #7537, nee-CEI 1603, ex-MP 936. Not sure what the disposition of this loco was after the L&N merger. No location was listed for this photo. This is a John H. Kuehl photo.
