This loco was built by GE in November of 1971 as Penn Central U23C #6709. When Penn Central collapsed it moved over to the Conrail roster as CR 6705 but later renumbered CR 6909. The loco was on the 1995 roster as CR 6909 but no current disposition was found. This long distance telephoto shot was taken by Conrail conductor Ken Taylor. |

Description: |
Built by GE in October of 1970 as PC 6701, it joined the Conrail roster as CR 6701 after the Penn Central collapse. Later it was renumbered CR 6901. The loco was still on the active roster in 1995 but no final disposition was found. At the Enola Yard, it was used as a hump engine part of the time. No photgrapher or exact day in March of 1980 was given. |
