Built in October of 1953 as PRR 8588, it was renumbered, merged into the PC family (#6998), absorbed by Conrail (#6998) and finally scrapped in June of 1985. Unknown photographer caught this loco at the Beech Grove yard in Indiana near Indianapolis. |
