Description:  According to the info on the back of this original photo, this little tank switcher was built by H.K. Porter in 1901. The unit is seen here as a display for its years of service. The ARMX reporting mark for the Armco Steel Corp was retired in January of 1959. No photographer listed.

Description:  Built by Smith and Porter of Pittsburgh in 1870 for the Northern Pacific, this little saddle tank 0-4-0T was nicknamed "Minnetonka" after the large lake in Minnesota.

After traveling to various railroad events around the nation, the new owner Burlington Northern finally donated it to the Lake Superior RR Museum where it rests today..

Description:  Here is an original photo of the rare Edgemoor & Manetta 0-4-0T #5 still in service. Built by H.K. Porter in November of 1917 for the Warrior River Terminal Co. #3, this little plugger (affectionately as Lil' Dinky) lasted until being decommissioned in 1975. It is now on display a Richburg's city park. Unknown photographer.

Title:  MSSX 0-4-0T #7, "Seven Spot" - Minnesota Steel Company
Description:  This "saddle tank" 0-4-0T steam locomotive was built by the H.K. Porter Company in October of 1915 for the Minnesota Steel Company. Nicknamed "7 Spot", it worked the steel company's yard moving hot metal and slag. It's last owner, US Steel Company, donated the little switcher to the Lake Superior RR Museum in 1973. It represents the many small steam switchers that were used in the iron and steel industry in Minnesota.

Description:  Nice original photo of the H.K. Porter 0-4-0T Pullman Co RR tank switcher taken by rr engineer C.W. Burns while visiting the National RR Museum up in Green Bay, WI.
