Title:  RARE - GTW 0-8-2 #3522 - Grand Trunk Western
Description:  This is actually a rare 0-8-2 loco but listed in RRPA as a 2-8-2 since there was no choice for this unusual wheel configuration. History - Built by the GTW shops, 1936-37, conversion of 2-8-2 class S-1-h to 0-8-2 by removing the pilot truck. This places more weight on the drivers making them more suitable for yard work. Original specs - Alco-Schnectady, 1918,2-8-2, 27x30-inch cylinders, 63-inch drivers, and a boiler pressure of 175 pounds, 52,000 pounds of tractive effort. Description:  History - Built by the IC Paducah shops, 2-10-2's were labeled "Centrals" instead of the traditional name "Santa Fe", rebuilt nee-Lima (built in 1920-23) in 1944-45 and renumbered them 2800-2819, The 20 rebuilt 2-10-2's were scrapped between 1957-62.
