| Badly deteriorating orginal photo of Boston & Maine 0-8-0 yard switcher built by Alco-Schenectady in 1922. The actual photo may very well disappear in the next few years so I found it compelling to share it now. Specs (USRA standards) - H-2-a class, 52" drivers, 175 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 221,000 lb. All 22 in the class was retired by July of 1957. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
