Nice original action photo of the Burnham, Wms & Co Consolidation built in 1906 as it steams up in the St. Louis yard. Originally it carried the number C&EI #341 but was renumbered in 1911 and reclassified as H-6. The loco was sold for scrap to Erman-Howell Company in February of 1950. Specs - 55 " drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 171,700 lb, tractive effort of 38,166 lb. Arthur B. Johnosn photo |
