The early morning golden sun backlights CNJ SD40 #3062 as it sits in the Elizabethport, NJ yard. Originally built by EMD in May of 1967 as B&O SD40 #7483, it landed on the CNJ roster as #3062. After the collapse of the Northeast railroads, it moved over to Conrail as their #6286. Later it was sold to HLCX and renumbered 5035. No photographer was listed for this photo. |
