Now about 3 months old, these two SD50's were part of 135 that Conrail ordered to fill the increasing need for modern power. They were well suited to the CR region and lasted beyond the CR era. #6722 became NS 5413 while #6734 became NS 5420. CR conductor Ken Taylor took this color slide of the pair in the foggy February morning. |
