Title:  CN 4-6-0 #1130 - Canadian National
Description:  Nice action shot of Canadian National 4-6-0 #1130 heading up a passenger train at Barlow Junction in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1912 originally as Canadian Northern 4-6-0 #1130, it was renumbered CN 1130 in 1919 after the railroad mergers were complete. The loco served in both passenger and freight service for nearly 42 years before the scrapper's torch ended its life in August of 1954. Original specs - class G-16-1, 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 20"x26" cylinders, engine weight of 154,000 lb. and tractive effort of 25,768 lb. No photographer was listed for this photo.

Description:  Here is one sharp looking 4-6-0 ten wheeler with its steam up, tender filled and just itching for its next assignment! Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1913 originally as Canadian Northern 4-6-0 #1148, it was renumbered in 1919 to CN 1148 after the mergers were done. This good looking loco headed up both passenger and freight trains during its nearly 42 years of service. It was sent to the scrapper's torch in March of 1955. Original specs - class G-16-1, 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 20x24" cylinders, engine weight of 154,000 lb and tractive effort of 25,768 lb. No photographer was listed for this photo.

Description:  This well maintained, shiny clean 4-6-0 was built by the Montreal Locomoitve Works in 1912 originally as Canadian Northern #1119 but after the Canadian railroad mergers in 1919, it was renumbered CN 1119. Between 6-1956-8/1957 it was renumbered again as CN 1500. The loco was scrapped in August of 1961. Description:  Still wearing its white sidewalls, this sharp looking 4-6-0 ten wheeler takes a turn at heading up a freight train near Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. The classy loco was built by the Montreal Locomoitve Works in 1913 originally as Canadian Northern #1133. After the consolidation of railroads, the loco was renumbered CN 1133 in 1919. After nearly 43 years of dedicated service, it was sent to the scrapper's torch in March of 1957.
