| Description: |
Built by EMD in November of 1983 when CR was in extreme need of power to handle the hills and grades of their region, this SD50 along with 134 other SD50 units responded. They proved their strength many times over. After the CR breakup, this unit became CSX 8647. A good color slide by CR conductor Ken Taylor. |
