| Description: |
Built by EMD in August of 1961 as ATSF 1128 (serial #26835) but was renumbered as ATSF 2128. It was rebuilt to GP20u in September of 1978 and renumbered ATSF 3028. Eventually it was transferred as BNSF 2018 on 10/27/1998. The loco was retired from BNSF on 11/24/1999 and was sold to PRC and eventually LHRR. No location or photographer listed for the slide but based on other photos taken around the same time, the loco may have been in the Chicago area when this was taken.. |
