Description:
Nice example of a Lima 2-8-2 Mikado built for the IC in March of 1915. The loco served well and along the way was rebuilt and renumbered in October of 1941 as IC #1218. Later it was renumbered again to IC #1576. The loco was scrapped in 1956. Specs - 63" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine wt of 282,700 lb, tractive effort of 54,583 lb. No date was given for the photo by photographer C.C. Grayson so aan pproximate was used..
