Description:  Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe 2-6-0 #1139 was built by Baldwin in January of 1903 as a Vauclain compound 2-6-2 Prairie type steam locomotive. In 1918, it was simplified during a rebuilt in the ATSF Topeka Shops. According to the Baldwin records, the loco also received a new boiler (#21617) around 1940. The date is based on the slide date stamp - probably taken in August or September of 1991.
